2016’s Phil•an•thro•pi•a was Executive Caterers’ 16th annual fundraising luncheon designed to benefit non-profits throughout Northeast Ohio. This event was bigger and better than ever before hosted by News Channel 5’s Leon Bibb and featuring a Chinese raffle, exquisite cuisine, and knockout performances from the all-new Thrive and fan-favorite The Singing Angels.
Phil•an•thro•pi•a came about in 2001 after the tragedy of 9/11. New York City absorbed such a large portion of all charitable donations after 9/11 that many local non-profits struggled to reach their own goals. This inspired Executive Caterers to create an annual luncheon in support of local charities, especially smaller organizations without substantial resources of their own. Thus, Phil•an•thro•pi•a was born, and has raised almost $2 million for local charities.
